In the night from 12 to 13 February, 2014 the 4th year cadet of Military Institute of Internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan private Sobir Bazarbayev, risking his live pulled out of the burning house of an old man — the disabled person of the group 2.
During the period from February 1 to February 14, 2014 the 24-year-old cadet of the 4th course, the private Sobir Bazarbayev was on his winter vacation. He spent his vacation with his family: his wife Saule, 3-month-old son Mansur, and parents of his wife in the village Krivoshchekovo, Shal Akyn district (the former Sergeevsky) North Kazakhstan region.
In the night from 12 to 13 February, approximately around 2.00 a.m. he watched the broadcast of the Winter Olympics in Sochi — hockey match Czech Republic vs. Sweden, where the Czech team, for which the cadet Bazarbayev was a fan, was losing the game. Strongly experiencing for his favorite team Sabir, went outside for some fresh air. Having left the house, at once he felt a smoke smell, having looked around, he saw that it came out of the house, which was across the other house. He knew that there lived a lonely elderly man, who also has a disability group 2 (after undergoing surgery in 2010 on both feet), cadet Bazarbayev went urgently to the burning house, but first phoned 101 and 103.
Having run up to the house, the cadet Bazarbayev entered an unlocked door where he was enveloped with fumes and it made him go back. Because of a flame it was impossible to come into the burning house. Having applied resourcefulness, the cadet Sobir wetted a sports hat with snow and re-entered the house. Without knowing an arrangement of rooms in the house, the cadet made the way to the touch. Because fire extended almost all over the area of the house, the cadet having applied military skills, crawled on their bellies on the house, and only in the third room he founded Rusmetov Alexey Andreevich, who strongly groaned, unable to move independently. The cadet Bazarbayev took A. Rusmetov and started to drag him through the whole house. Having appeared outside Sobir provided first aid to the victim, having providently dragged Alexey Andreevich on a long distance as the gas cylinder was at home.
Having waited for arrival of crew of an emergency medical service and a fire brigade, our cadet took an active part in fire extinguishing. As a result of a fire the house was destroyed completely (54 sq.m).
At this time a state of health of 61-year-old Alexey Andreevich is satisfactory – he got carbon monoxide poisoning, and now he is receiving treatment in therapeutic department of Shal Akyn hospital. And now the hero of our time cadet Bazarbayev is the in military unit 6698 in the city of Shymkent where he is having army training.
It is encouraging that there are batyrs still with us and it is growing the worthy replacement to military officers, who have gone through «hot spots» — Nagorny-Karabakh, Transnistria, the Caucasus, the Tajik-Afghan conflict and many others. Let Sobir heroic feat would be an example for other cadets, regular soldiers, and also other categories of the military personnel of Internal troops.
At the moment the cadet of the 4 course of Military Institute of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan private Sobir Bazarbayev is recommended for decorations by the order of the Commander-in-chief of Internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
