Today the President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in ceremony of a raising of National flag and gave start to the festive actions devoted to the 15 anniversary of the capital which was held on the ethno memorial complex «Atameken».
The Head of our country said: — These days, Astana celebrates the youth anniversary. The cities, as well as people, have the history, the destiny. The history of young Astana — is the chronicle of national dream which became reality. For these years hundreds of thousand Kazakhstan citizens from all regions of the country made a powerful contribution to the construction and formation of our capital. And Astana is a particle of our new Homeland made by our hands and which is close to the hearts of all citizens of our country. Later by the tradition the Head of our country – the Supreme Commander of Armed forces handed over officer shoulder straps to the best graduates of military educational institutions of the country.
— We publicly address to all who tied themselves with the protection of the Motherland. Kazakhstan is the peaceful and tolerant country, the good neighbor and the worthy partner to all countries of the world. But our Armed forces are responsible for the safety and sovereignty of our Homeland, they protect the peaceful lives of Kazakhstan citizens therefore they are under great attention of the country.
Every year our army accepts young officer replenishment — graduates of the highest military educational institutions. Today the excellent students of combat training having the highest rates of study are invited to this square. As the Supreme Commander I congratulate the graduates of all military higher education institutions of the country on the assignment of officer ranks, — said the Head of country before the beginning of the ceremony.
There were also the graduates of Military institute of Internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan who received the officer shoulder straps from hands of the President of the country: the lieutenants Talgat Rispekov and Nurlan Tuteshev. They recently finished the military educational institution with honors and received the honor to see their surnames on an institute honor roll.
After the investiture of the shoulder straps to new officers Nursultan Nazarbayev addressed to them with a speech: — Today in all regions of the country serve young soldiers and officers. Tomorrow you will become their instructors and brothers. Pay them more attention, render care, and train them to become the real defenders of the Homeland. Having become officers, you set for yourselves very high aim – to serve the state, to ensure its safety. The graduates assured that they will make every effort and use their knowledge for the state safety. The head of the country was photographed with them for memory.
This day the other graduates of the Military institute who have finished it with honors received great honor also.
